A New Look to Celestis Scene

Celestis is an NPC town currently in the game, but is being uncloned for Release 43. Changes are being made to make the scene look more like other nearby Perennial Coast scenes. In Celestis you will find an outdoor theater, beautiful rock garden, and several hidden ‘easter eggs’ for you to find!

Community Livestream – A New Look to Celestis

We will be kicking off this week’s Community Livestream by giving players a first look at changes to the uncloned update of Celestis! Chris “Seawolf” Wolf will be driving the master build machine as we get a look around the scene and its surprises.

Celestis is an NPC town currently in the game, but is being uncloned for Release 43. Changes are being made to make the scene take on the theme of other nearby Perennial Coast scenes. In Celestis you will find an outdoor theatre, beautiful rock garden, and several unmentioned ‘easter eggs’!

After the scene changes go live, we have even more content, including quests, you can look forward to in future releases!

Lord British Invites You to Upcoming Q&A Events for Portalarium’s SeedInvest Campaign

As you all saw last week, we announced a unique way for you to become a part of the Portalarium team by investing in the company through our equity campaign at SeedInvest.

This campaign has since gone from reservation status to investment status.

New Libris Ruins Screenshots & Video!

Hey guys! SorcerousSteve here to give you an update on Libris Ruins!

I am approaching completion of the the worldbuilding phase and now with all the major POI’s in place I will begin spawning the map with lots of bad guys and yes, traps.

Looking to the North the ruins of the ancient courthouse are dwarfed by rugged cliffs in the background. To the lower right we can catch a glimpse of the Sanctus River flowing by.

Community Livestream – Libris Ruins Tour

We will be kicking off this week’s Community Livestream by giving players an in-depth look at the upcoming Libris Ruins scene! Esteben “SorcerousSteve” Zaldivar will be driving the Unity client as we tour around the scene. We hope to have Libris Ruins live in-game in Release 43.

Community Spotlight – Kahli Player Town

From the journals of Elbyon, the Ranger of Kahli…

With the skeletons of Ravensmoor closing in upon me, I had no choice. Kahli. Certainly the rumors of peril arising from this land could not be so true, and most assuredly, could not compare to my impending doom by skeletal hand. Holding my panicked breath as if plunging into frigid waters, I ducked into the darkened canyon, descending through twists and turns akin to a maze. Even the undead dared not to follow.

What have I done?

But ahead, a glimmer of light brought me hope. Approaching, there be three disheveled merchants, forlorn, all but emaciated, and with only a paltry amount of supplies for trade.

“Traveler! Come, quickly, to the light of our fire! The night here… it becomes too dark. Do not get lost in that madness. Are, are they gone? The walking bones? Can we finally leave?” implored the raggedy banker, long since away from her comforts and riches.

We continue our development of the Colossus scenes with a sneak peek of the second scene, Boreas Colossus! Currently in-game is the Oracle Colossus scene we covered in a recent video in last week’s Update #227. We hope to have the following Boreas Colossus scene in Release 43:

Once again, having taken to the field, I, Earl Greyhot, bring you a first hand account of my extensive travels. This journey has brought me to the site of the Colossus of Boreas. A sleepy fog has taken hold of the mountainside and it begins to rain as I make my way through the many trials necessary to reach the giant statue itself.

I came across strange architecture and flora around every corner…

As you know, we are in the process of putting the finishing touches on the story, polishing the new user experience, and a host of other efforts to prepare the game for a commercial launch of Episode 1 – Forsaken Virtues later this year.

We are forever grateful to our backers who have helped us to reach levels of support that we never dreamed of having. That support has brought Shroud of the Avatar to where it is today.
